Florida Dog Services FAQs
Our membership model means that all of our daycare packages are monthly recurring every 30 days from sign up. By keeping track of exactly how many days per month, per size, that we have allocated, we’re able to staff our playgroups at a lower dog to person ratio than our competitors. It also gives us the unique opportunity to learn our fur-members extremely well, as we see them at least 5 days/month.

Playgroups are separated by both size and temperament.
Professional grooming is available at multiple Paws ‘n’ Rec locations, with appointments open both weekdays and weekends, and late appointments as well. Cancellations less than 24 hours before the appointment time will result in a required 50% deposit for grooms going forward. Extra add-on services are available for all grooms if you’d like to spoil your pup even more, but all grooms include a complimentary nail trim and ear cleaning as we believe all-inclusive services are necessary for your pup’s well-being.
Pups who board with us enjoy the same play time as all of the other pups in our care! There is no extra charge for daycare play, owner-supplied food, or medications while boarding – the only cost associated with boarding is the price of your pup’s room per night. You should bring your pup’s food pre-packaged in individual portions by feeding time – for example, if your pup is staying for one night, you’ll want to pack 1 PM portion and 1 AM portion. Please be sure to also include any important medications. Please note, we only administer topical and oral medications, and we do not administer any injectables. One toy may also be brought from home.

All in-house guests are required to have an emergency contact on file that is in town and will be available in case of any emergencies. If there is an emergency, we will aim to contact you first, then your emergency contact. Depending on the scenario, we will coordinate with you and/or your emergency contact with the appropriate next steps. We take pups of all types, including pups with special needs! As long as they can pass an evaluation showing their comfort with the other pups, in their room, and with our staff, they’re welcome to join the PNR Pack.
