As a membership based facility, every dog passes an evaluation and only members can board with us, meaning you’ll have an easier time making bookings than at other facilities. This allows us to ensure we know your dogs and they know their pack mates. Membership includes priority access to the facility, grooming discounts, and discounts around town.
Our Hotel Members enjoy group play during the day and comfortable accommodations overnight. Hotel Members also have access to Solo Adventures and S’paw Specials. Evaluations are required for all members to ensure comfort in the facility, with our staff, and with our established members prior to committing to any membership.

Dog Hotel Membership FAQs
Our Hotel Membership guarantees you will always have priority booking at Paws ‘n’ Rec. here is no extra charge for daycare play, owner-supplied food, or medications while boarding – the only cost associated with boarding is the price of your pup’s room per night. With our Hotel Membership, you also get access to our Member Discounts. These are deals available at local dog and non-dog-related businesses, exclusive to PNR members!
Pricing for boarding varies on the number of pets you have – pricing goes by number of pets, and you do get $5 off/night for each dog in the same family (must live in the same household) that board simultaneously.
The only additional fees associated with boarding come with add-on services – professional grooming, extra one-on-one play sessions, etc. Late pick up does not incur a fee, as long as you pick your pup up within our hours of operations.
All reservations are charged at check in. For boarding reservations, there is no penalty for canceled stays unless it is during one of the six major US holidays:

4th of July
Labor Day
Thanksgiving
Christmas
New Years
We require a 50% deposit for all stays that fall within the 3 days before, the day of, and/or the 3 days after the holiday. There is a $5 surcharge/night for stays during these timeframes as well. Holiday deposits are refundable up to 48 hours before check in – if you cancel or modify your stay within 48 hours of check in, your deposit will be forfeited.
Reservations are not required but they are highly recommended, especially during holidays. Reservations can be made directly through our client portal online, by calling us, or by emailing us.
Pets from the same household that board at the same time can enjoy a $5 discount/night. Boarding stays of 20+ nights more will enjoy a 20% discount.
All pups must come in prior to starting a membership for a complimentary evaluation. The evaluation day is meant to ensure your pup is comfortable with the other dogs, with our staff, and in their rooms. As long as they pass their evaluation, they’re all set to join as a member and start utilizing our daycare and boarding services right away!
All pertinent health information will be collected and stored in our online customer portal. We take the health and well-being of our Adventurers very seriously, and we want to know all of the details that allow us to provide the best possible care for them.
